Pitches

Take a look at our campsite!

Tent, caravan or motorhome… everyone is welcome at Camping Les Ochay!

Our campsite consists of two parts. The front part is closer to the reception, the sanitary facilities, the terrace and the playground. In high season, we close our terrace and playground at 8 p.m. This ensures peace and quiet in the evening, even for those who have a pitch at the front of the campsite.

The second part, “the island”, is accessed via a wooden bridge that is suitable for vehicles weighing up to 3 tonnes. When we say this, we don’t mean the kerb weight of your vehicle, but the total weight when fully loaded (= including all luggage, provisions, water, fuel and passengers). Are you travelling with a motorhome or a heavier camper van? Then you should choose a pitch at the front of the campsite and not on the island. Our pitches are unpaved.

All pitches have the option of an electricity connection. The choice is yours!
You can easily tick this option when making your reservation. Don’t forget your CEE plug and extension cord!

Small-scale campsite

During the low season, Camping Les Ochay is a dream spot for anyone who loves peace and relaxation. It feels like time stands still, with a calm atmosphere and the only interruption being the occasional kingfisher flying by to say hello.

In high season, the campsite is full of life, as we are also visited by young families. During the day, you can hear cheerful laughter at the playground, see young and old playing in the river, or watch our campers relaxing on air mattresses or paddling around the island in one of our play kayaks. And at the end of the day, when the sun goes down, it becomes quiet again and the world falls silent – everyone gathers around their own fire barrel or barbecue to enjoy the evening.

Hikers and bikepackers

We always find a spot on our campsite for hikers and cyclists, because we know from experience that a good shower and a refreshing drink are very welcome after a day of covering many kilometres. Are you planning to stop at our campsite? Let us know and we will find a spot where you can pitch your trekker’s tent.

Dog-friendly campsite

Your four-legged friend is also more than welcome here. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, you can enjoy beautiful walks together or canoe down the river. On hot days, your dog can cool off in the Semois.
We allow a maximum of 4 dogs per pitch and expect you to walk your dog regularly outside the campsite. On the campsite, your dog must always be kept on a leash or in a fenced-off area on your pitch.
